I’m honestly glad Black Friday isn’t nearly so much of a big deal now as it was back in 2007. Stores still *try* to make it a big deal, but most of the discounts aren’t worth it (oh boy, 10% off) or stores try to be sneaky and jack up the prices on everything the month before, so that on BF they “discount it” back to the original price. People aren’t falling for the scam anymore.
Kanpai.
I instantly imagined a minion saying that.
I worked at Macy’s during Black Friday. It actually wasn’t that bad. I think Cyber Monday was becoming more of a thing back then.
