Nothing’s wrong with taking the bus specifically, but like…walking to the mall in your pajamas is odd because it means you don’t see a problem with leaving your house like that, but if you live that close the minimal effort could be understood. If you drive, that means you’re further away and it means that you’re putting in extra effort to go to the mall and you still don’t decide to wear normal clothing.
If you take the bus, you’re interacting with other people the whole time (to some degree or another) and it involves waiting at the bus station and it takes who knows how long, so the choice to wear pajamas gets even stranger because of the level of prolonged effort and attention needed to ride the bus, especially since bus schedules mean you can’t really just decide on a whim and go whenever, you need to know or check the schedule.
🎵 String us along, you’re Pajama Man
Wear what you wear at night
Well, we’re all in the mood for a mystery
And you’ve got us wond’ring, all right. 🎵
Hmmm, one would think they would know the guy’s name as he had paid for something (unless he paid in cash only), but then the same could eb said of Creepy Guy and Crazy Hat Lady.
“The Pajama Killer”… that could be the name for a lame Batman villain. Or a good Sandman villain!

Well said.
Someone wearing pajamas would be one of the least weird things I’ve seen on the bus.
Rain Matt, all this is true, but there are plenty of weirdos on the bus. PJs wouldn’t even merit a raised eyebrow on some routes.
Also, it’s too cold to wear pajamas outside in November. Unless you’re Lunker.

(apologies to Billy Joel)
That was pretty good!
A+
Most crazy people take the bus.
