I wonder who she was thinking of. I’m sure she wants to keep Arthur though she wouldn’t stand in his way if he wanted to be SM somewhere. She’d hate to see him go. Val has made it clear she doesn’t want to be AM so she won’t want to be SM, she wants to write as a career. We know he hates Cooper so why bother even mentioning him. Amber is in college and probably has other career goals. As for Craig I don’t know him well enough to say whether he’d make a good SM or not.
Some might reconsider giving it’s SM. But likely Arthur was the main one on her mind, even if she’d miss him, Marla is not the type to keep people down. She suffered that for years after all.
Really this is a Stu problem. Giving he expected someone already trained AND with “loyalty” to the company.
