Now, in 2024, you can go through and see where some minor issues were corrected quickly, and some never were.
Browsing will never not be a thing. Digital storefronts rely on search results and algorithms and don’t really give you a good way to just look through a bunch of things of the same type without risking having to buy from a reseller with 400% markup on the price.
I like to shop in person because then you know what you’re getting. Otherwise the size or color or something won’t be what you expected and you’ll have to return it. And like you said you can have it now rather than waiting for it to be shipped to you. Even overnight shipping (which you pay more for) means waiting at least a day!

Plus, with Brick and Mortar, there’s no delivery time. As soon as you pay, you have it, and can use it.
