I think a fair question is if any company has gone though closing of stores due to company underperformance and survived long term. Sure there are stores that close because they didn’t make or because the area changed, but I’m talking about closing in a “company restructuring” sense. I can’t think of any, but I’m sure there must be some.

Restructuring is basically just code word for plugging up the holes so we can keep the money coming a little while longer.
