A bit hypocritical, don’t you think, Marla? You didn’t appreciate it when your mother tried to guilt trip you into having the big wedding she wanted and now you are low key doing it to Val. She may not be as bothered by it as you were but that still doesn’t make it ok.
I don’t think Marla meant she felt they should have had a “big” ceremony. But Val and Cooper were the only ones from work that Marla invited to her small, simple ceremony. And Val did express disappointment when she thought that she wasn’t going to see Marla in her dress.
