Something that occurred to me while hunting for last minute stocking stuffers one Christmas and couldn’t see anyone working the aisles or cash registers anywhere around me.
I’ve asked myself that if I am forced to wait through a long line with one item behind people with carts packed. “This’ll take at least 20 minutes if the cashier is efficient (and the customer doesn’t add to the time I must wait by needing price checks etc.) Is it worth it to me to pay the money plus the time? Sometimes it isn’t so I end up not buying it.
