In a socialist nightmare, employees are supposed to get rid of the managers and get the pay for their own work. Since you were only writing up schedules and complaining, I don’t think you’re getting paid in the New Order.
I guess Brice wouldn’t care if Donnie became homeless and had to live out of his car as long as he worked the pitiful few hours Grumbel’s is willing to pay him for.
I think Brice needs to be visited by 3 ghosts… so does Stuart.
He’s a corporate lap dog from a froofroo high income store. He’s never struggled or known the dark side before.
He absolutely wouldn’t care cause their are dozens of new cogs they could slot in for less cause they would be starting at newcomer wage rather than Donnie’s likely heightened hourly from performance increase over the years.
As a saying I’ve heard goes, “They want you to die for the company… And fast so they can get someone cheaper in there.”
Loyalty is a two-way street.
Why do I have the sudden urge to punch someone through the wall?
Punch? Nah. I’d much rather give him a huracanrana or perhaps put him in my patented Leviathan Lock.

Socialist nightmares wouldn’t be there isn’t no hierarchy it just has the illusion of equality.
And this sums up the problem quite nicely.
Workers have to be loyal to the company.
Company knows no loyalty.
With expected results…

The next time someone misuses the word socialism, I’m going to look them directly in the eye and ask them to define what socialism is.
I’m not a socialist, BUT WORDS HAVE MEANING, PEOPLE!
