Consistently throughout the strip, Delman’s has been portrayed as Grumbel’s superior competitor, with better products, smarter buyers, and probably slightly better treatment of employees on the overall. This does not include the individual store in the Smithfield Mall, where the tyrannical manager and toxic gossip-fest contrast the customers’ view of Delman’s as the better place to shop.
Also Brad and Mina are definitely having an affair. Remember that Mina is a usurper, so she has a lust for power. She’d be vying for his job if she wasn’t [bleep]ing him.
Actually, Marla should be warning him that Dalman’s is a toxic environment – just as Brice. I know I’d warn anyone who wasn’t a perfect fit for that toxic stew.
Not the response you were expecting huh Marla?
That make me wonder…is Delman an evil company or an actual more reasonable company than Grumbel’s?
The two aren’t necessarily exclusive. That being said… well, smtutttle down below said it already.
Sorry, that should have read “The two aren’t necessarily exclusive, it’s just that some people choose one or the other. Grumbel’s chose the former.”
I think Marla is beginning to develop a case of stockholm syndrome.
It doesn’t reflect so well on Delman’s that its DM Brad praised Mina… Just sayin’.
No kidding, that would be a classic fry pan to fire.
