What is the point of these inspections?
To prevent bonuses.
Officially? To make sure that all store are up to “Grumbel’s High Standardts (TM)”. Effectively? What Anon said…
To prove Stuart is doing something. If stores pass with a perfect score, then the inspection (and the DM) were/are unnecessary.
Stuart’s even more of a PITA as DM than he was as SM! And he was awful as SM!
If the display was completely sold, getting on the next display to increase the sales time and likelihood of that display also selling out is a good thing for sales. Grumbels getting in its own way here.
