Val has a point. Plus, when was the last time a company crashed and burned so badly that the executives didn’t receive gold parachutes they could retire on as well as cushy job offers to come and screw up some other company?
Yep. I’ve experienced it firsthand. My first store declared bankruptcy, gave the bosses nice bonuses, then closed all the stores. Was supposed to sell off all the ips and such, then use the money to pay off their debtors and employees, but decided to start from scratch and rip everybody off. Got 33 bucks in severance only after they were threatened with a lawsuit. In fact the creditors felt so bad about the situation, they actually set up a fund for the employees to help them.
When that second attempt failed, I have never celebrated so much.
