    Oh Stuart even you should be able to see the folly of that argument. It’s not like when you go to the store for some staple item like bread or milk and they deliberately put them way in the back so you have to walk through the store to find them and see other stuff and buy them on impulse. You will still buy the bread or milk. These handbags are not a staple item. Most women own several purses. The customers won’t be searching for them unless they’re on sale. They may or may not buy the other merchandise. Bad decision by corporate but Stuart will defend them to the death.

    That actually is a tactic that retailers use. That is why in the grocery stores, Milk, which is considered a staple, is kept in the back so you have to walk through the aisles to get to it. They hope something will catch your eye.

      Milk, meat, pharmacy sometimes (I know one store it’s technically in the front but you still have to walk the whole length of the store from the entrance to get to it). It’s also why every so often sections of the store get shuffled around.
