I have always wondered about this. During the original run of the strip, there actually was a Daily were Cooper did in fact find a box full of avocado slicers. That was among a handful of strips that disappeared from the archives during one of it’s many moves. I guess they are lost for good.
You’re sure you’re not mixing in possible bonus content from one of the Retail books? I don’t own either one of them (I’d like to though), so I’m only guessing on the possibility here.
