They are starting to do that in fast food. At a certain taco bell I use the Kiosk every time!

I use the kiosk because I feel like I’m in a time crunch at the register with other customers behind me. That and I can make all the fiddly little changes I like to make with my food — no onions, no pickles, add some bacon etc. — which I am both embarrassed to ask for and afraid they won’t key that in.

For awhile, the Taco Bell I go to had a sign to use the Kiosk – they were short staffed. Last time I went, the whole dining area was closed and it was just drive though.

The kiosks are way better IMO. My only gripe is the upselling and add-on offers. I made my choices dangit!

My husband always has trouble with the debit card but he still uses it every time. If they only made all of the machines the same but no! They’re all different and that confuses him.
