Yeah, I doubt it helped. It helps when parents wouldn’t just drop their kids off like a free daycare. Also the fact that kids usually wind up damaging the demos. Where I used to work, the Sony rep had just finished setting up the PS4 demo. She didn’t even leave the parking lot, before some kid managed to pull too hard on the controlle and damage it. She came back in and took it all down. Never got it back either.

I admit I was that kid in Walmart. I’d play the latest video game demo while mom shopped. She’d come grab me when she was done
I would do that at Service Merchandise with their Super Nintendo demo console. Man, I feel old now.
