I prefer gift cards, actually. That way, my family doens’t have to worry about figuring out what to get me, especially since my interests change every six months or so.
If you have a loved one who lives near a WalMart (excepting the center of Nevada or such places) A WalMart gift card is a perfectly decent gift. I have groceries in January!
I like gift cards. Some people aren’t too good at choosing stuff for me. With a gift card they save themselves the trouble of finding something for a picky person and I get the fun of picking out my own gift. A win/win.

I like that guy. Best gift: Visa Gift Card. Buys whatever you want, wherever you want, up to the amount in the card.
I use “Universal Gift Certificates”. They’re green and have pictures of dead presidents on them.
