    I’ve gotten some great stuff on clearance. Things right after a holiday, for example. Or something that’s being “updated” so the older model needs to be liquidated for w/e reason. Or some things that people just don’t appreciate enough.

    I worked at a certain hardware store with blue shirts right before they got Craftsman products in for the first time. I spent $650 on clearance power tools because they were last year’s display models, and a bunch of batteries to power them for $5 apiece. Total savings – $845.
