    “Work Ethic”: We will pay you as little as we can get away with. But if you work as though you are already being paid a respectable wage, some day we might pay you a little more than as little as we can get away with. Also, why doesn’t anyone want to work anymore?

      But if you do too well and get too much of a raise, we’ll have to let you go. The CEO’s fifth mansion won’t pay for itself, after all.

    Work ethic? Says the guy who avoided actual work the whole time he “worked” there. Never ran a register except when Marla challenged him about getting reward cards and stuff. Other than that all he did was go around criticizing everyone.
