    “You’re being rewarded with exciting new challenges.” If workers were given full-time hours with benefits and regular schedules (within reason) you wouldn’t have these staffing problems, Stuart.

    I once had a job that tried to schedule me 6 days a week: 5 days for 6½ hours each plus one day for 3 hours. For a 6½ hour shift we only got one 15 minute break. For a 3 hour shift, nada.
    I asked if I could be considered full time, with full time benefits. Nope.
    I said, “No, thanks” to that 3 hour shift and a 6-day work week.
