Unfortunately this idiot doesn’t care that Cooper isn’t allowed to do this, and why should he risk his job for some fool he doesn’t even know? In such a case I wouldn’t even do it for my mother. But I could buy it for her as if for a gift and she could pay me back later.
There’s a subplot in one episode of the animated series China, Il where one of the characters can’t pay for his lunch and, in a last ditch effort, calls the server “brother”. We then we get a fun little song about how “if you’re white, and the other guy’s white, calling each other brother will activate the cheat code that will get you everything you want”
“Now, asking me to break the rules for you, *that*, I hold against you.”
Not to mention, jeopardizing his job.
