When I worked for Sears as Holiday Help in 1999, our store had been there since the 60s and we seriously had people who only bought from Sears, and wouldn’t shop elsewhere (except for groceries and other things Sears didn’t sell)….but it was mostly old people.
No jokes, I now work for a business where people frequently take side trips during their vacations so they can come visit. It’s simultaneously the coolest and creepiest thing I’ve ever witnessed. Every time I tell someone where I work, I get one of two reactions, “What’s (Workplace),” and “Oh my God, you work at (Workplace)? That’s so COOL!”
