The only thing that could make Panel 8 better is if the crustomer’s phone started up with “ANGRY RINGING!” because someone just checked their account and saw the gift return.
Or – He calls Corporate, throws a Category 5 tantrum & demands they reverse it & give him a store credit. They cave like a house of cards & give it to him, then reprimands her for poor customer service.
This seems like one of the few cases where corporate would NEVER side with the costumer. Becuase the refund was made, so reversing it would require taking a new charge WITHOUT the owner’s consent. A way larger liabilty than not giving this jerk what he wants.
