I kind of wish I were behind this guy in line. I’d love to help Val in messing with him. Although, I’m not sure if I would say specify that it’s by William Shakespeare (“I doubt you’ll have heard of him, though”) or reall f— with him by saying the author was Charles Dickens or Stephen King. I can imagine Val going along with the latter idea and see how upset he’ll get.
Of course he didn’t expect a lowly retail employee to know something about Shakespeare and his plays. They’re supposed to be lowly peons who probably dropped out of high school and now will be grunt workers all their lives. I’m glad Val showed him up.
