“Less” is fine because it’s referring to those exhibiting insane behavior. Marla is pining for both fewer people in general and less crazy behavior from those who are there. “Less” takes priority over “fewer” due to the inexactness.
And “diving man” is still showing up, I see.
Didn’t even realize he was a reoccurring character. Now I’m gonna have to reread all the comics again to see if I can spot him.
