as much as i enjoy cooper, the new-employee hazing doesn’t sit right with me. this is the kind of thing that helped me get fired for crying and panic attacks. i was prepared to have customers treat me like shit, but when it was co-workers or even certain management it felt like i was being targeted.
now, had it been a couple months, i would consider it fair to bully the life out of

I get what you are saying about new employees, but bullying is never appropriate. No matter how long the co-worker has been there, colleagues have no right to bully or intimidate for fun. That’s called creating hostile work environment and should be immediately brought up to HR.
