as much as i enjoy cooper, the new-employee hazing doesn’t sit right with me. this is the kind of thing that helped me get fired for crying and panic attacks. i was prepared to have customers treat me like shit, but when it was co-workers or even certain management it felt like i was being targeted.
now, had it been a couple months, i would consider it fair to bully the life out of
me. but man if i’m still trying to adapt to this workplace don’t mess with me yet i don’t care if you don’t care just tell me how to scan this discount card
I get what you are saying about new employees, but bullying is never appropriate. No matter how long the co-worker has been there, colleagues have no right to bully or intimidate for fun. That’s called creating hostile work environment and should be immediately brought up to HR.
I know that this it is a long shot that you will actually see this after more than 2 and 1/2 years but, The Old Wolf, I’m curious, were you a regular commenter on this strip back when it first ran? I ask because in spite of how long it’s been, I think I remember a regular commenter with your name. I probably went by “Sassy” back then.
