When I was at Sears (auto shop salesman), we had “Thanskgiving dinner” as a catered lunch a week before the actual holiday. By the time I got to go, nothing was left. Of course, my manager, Curtissimo, had managed to go three times, both years. (I never liked that guy, and he never got any comeuppance for the stuff he did that made my life difficult.)
Big box store I worked at always catered Black Friday, and they did it throughout the day. Morning was fruit, yogurt and bagels. Lunch throughout the day was usually pizza.
Same here. We had multiple days with meals catered during the holiday rush. It was awesome to have pizza, burgers, or wings waiting for us in the break room, and even better: They had food delivered twice!
one of the last retail places I worked always brought in sandwich and veggie trays for weekends. The managers were always trying to be fair and make sure EVERYONE who worked on those days was aware and would even get people to write down what they wanted saved if their sections were swamped.

I see Cooper’s still bitter about the toy chinchilla fiasco with Val.
