I’m not too sure about that where Courtney was concerned. I always viewed her as some rich yuppie’s spoiled daughter a la Tiffany from LUANN, and her job at Grumbel’s was just something she took to make it look like she was learning responsibility, the value of hard work, yadda yadda.
These were the golden days at Grumbles. Soon enough, everyone’s hours will be cut so much that they end up begging for every extra hour they can get.
