All used cars lower than $7,000 are broken-down lemons. They’re only priced so high because the owner is nostalgic about the “good times” they had driving in it, but even though the true value of their vehicle is less than 500 bucks because they drove it until it was worthless, they’ll “miss” the car and can’t let it go for any less than the suggested price. I had a brother-in-law who tried to scam over $1,500 out of me by offering to sell me his Jeep. He said it “ran great and only needs a battery change”. All 4 tires were flat, it hadn’t run in over a year, and both the engine and transmission needed to be replaced. It was worth less than 200. I called him out on his lies and now he and my sister won’t speak to me because I was “mean”. No. They just didn’t get to benefit from my money when trying to sell me their used-up garbage.
There’s nothing wrong with used cars.
As long as they’re in good condition, of course.
Agreed, but when is the last time you saw a used car on display in the mall?
