I worked for RGIS for a short time. Our #1 Priority was accuracy. Our #2 Priority was safety.
If you have to break your leg to get that accurate count, then get to it.
Each store should be required to close for a day and do inventory during the day.
Lose a day of sales? Slay your tongue.
The only place I knew of that closed for the day for inventory was SUN TV and Appliances (outside of Pittsburgh)
