Good job, Marla. If every retail employee refused to put up with customer idiocy, and if management backed them up, abuse of service workers would take a steep dive.
I consider myself a pretty nice person, but darn it if I hadn’t wanted so much to lash out like this at a customer (or a coworker or even a manager) at least once or twice. There were times when I was not only biting my tongue; I was chewing it like a piece of bubble gum.
