My birthday is right around this date. Everyone is recovering from gift exhaustion. Everyone is done with planning events and get togethers. Everyone is sinking into the cold, dark, grey January depression. For all these reasons, I moved my birthday to April 25th, which is my idea of the perfect date.
I have already started seeing Valentine’s Day decorations in the middle of January myself.
It’s late-November where I am. No sign of them yet.
