Same thing happened with one of those gas-fueled artificial log fireplace set-ups that my parents got. They enjoyed it only one year, then the next found something had deteriorated in the little control module, and by then the place they’d bought in from had gone out of business so they couldn’t figure out who manufactured it to have it looked at. Had a feeling they should have stuck with chemical logs.
